Jim Sawkins Handicap at Goorooyaroo. Thought either soft legs or cbfness would take over if I did the long course so went for Red 2, 10.3k. Beautiful morning and felt pretty good running at long run pace. Highlight was crossing a small creek and stopping to throw rocks into the frozen water. The rocks dinted the ice but bounced off. Also ice in the cup of water I had at first drinks control. ENjoyable run with beautiful weather and good course setting by SwissMiss - she got the long(ish) format just right.

Finally went for a run, doing a half lap of aranda with andy. Legs felt fine with the most I can describe a few twinges at bottom of achilles on both legs.

Cycling 1:07:00 [3]

rode to work. pretty much felt fine so that was good. cold enough in the morning to get "face ache". was a bit worried my wonder rear light had broken but "fixed it" when I got home by replacing the battery - suspect I left it on last weekend which means it wouldve been on for just short of a week.
