Erred on side of caution and went for ride instead of cockies long run. did 2* Black mtns on bike felt good. could have entertained a 3rd but girls swimming lessons were calling.

Really need to change HRM - its ridiculous.

Ran home from Dicko pool at a fairly gentle pace. Legs still a bit tired from last weekend and calf has some tighness/twinginess down lateral side. was considering cockies long run tomorrow but think wiser option might be bike or something that ensures I wont get caught up in some sort of Jens Voigt activity.

Physio gave cautious approval to building up again. I told her about two bays how she had said I wouldnt do any damage.... she said no way she would have said that! maybe no "permanent damage". Anyhoo sposed to build back up so did half lap of aranda. Step-by-step analysis of calf suggested it was well on the mend.

Felt so good riding this mornign that when i had a cancellation I went out and did 3 red hills. again, felt great although it was a bit hot.

Decided a trot was good but didnt want to pay $10 to trot orienteering and collect a kajillion grass seeds out at Gooyarooaroo. So trotted round the tracks - some pain but definitely better than the weekend.

Ok, Im sore. Felt like Rob looked post 6FT last year so figured I must've tried hard. Looks like a toe nail will be a casualty of yesterdys run - another good sign.
