Cockies long run with another big crowd. First warm morning for a while and Rob volunteered to lead the route choice. Went a tricky way which contributed to us losing a few and I''ll have to look at GPS to work it out myself. Group I was in was boys plus JLA who acquitted herself well. Final sorting out was Majura and felt reasonable up initial ascent but after 'saddle' legs just flooded with lactic and I trudged my lead-legs to the top. Tired afters and caramel milkshake at Sfoglia was outstanding.

Dads run with Hoggster and RobW who is still waiting for become a Dad again. We keep booking runs with him expecting him to not show but he keeps turning up! Andy must have been unwell because he let Rob choose our run route - an out and back to Black Mtn peak. Was a bit relentless up the hill and I nearly cracked but got through.

Morning run with a full compliment of the boys. Legs were ok but head and eyes wanted to be asleep. Highlight was Rob making some jokes across bottom of aranda hill that caused me to laugh so much I almost couldnt run. Cant remember what they were now.

Legs didnt feel all that flash for this outing of Summer Series at Campbell Pk. Wanted to keep focus for each control c.f with losing focus/concentration (and 2 mins) last week. Struggled to get into at the start but forced myself. Craney came past like I was standing still while going up hill (relatively speaking I was). Long leg back across flatlands (11?) I lost contact just like last week - difference was this time when I stopped and started swearing I looked up to see flag. Probably lost 30s instead of 2mins.

3 * EcMo easy ints over at Gossan. Times were very slow but it was getting so dark I didnt do the 4th one. Good effort to do them at 7pm. Whatever random disease I picked up at CISAC (Belconnen Pool) last Saturday seems to be fading. Given my girls came out of the pool without the 2 bandaids they went in with I cant really complain.
