Thought I better do another longer run so ran to start of Cockies long run. Had to do 4min30 ks through O'Connor and Lyneham thinking I was late but got up to Ainslie in reasonable time and bumped into Dreaded who was running to start and he reassured me and we jogged rest of way. Good turn out including Kathy Dent - she's easier to run with than her husband. Up Majura, some Pines running and then Ainslie and back down tricky track. Had food/water flat going up Ainslie but big drink at top fixed me up. Good caramel milkshake at Wilburs along w coffee & rainsin toast. Detective Froggas Omelette looked real good but not the price tag that went with it.

4*EcMo Easy ints on Gossan Hill with RobW. Probably should log them as tempo run I was so slow - 10-25s slower than last time. Quads stiffening up as ints went on. Pool in house below starting point was very enticing but they didnt invite us in.
Highlight of run was in warm up and warm down watching cricket at Aranda Ovals - Ginninderra (who are they kidding? everyone knows they are Belconnen) v Weston Creek (Creekers). On way over we saw an appeal quite a while after ball had gone through to keeper - dunno what happened but batsmen started to walk off before the Captain (I presume) who was at mid-off called him back! On way back saw a bouncer clunk a helmet, an obese man bowling for the Creekers (3 wides and plenty of sweat and he was sent back to 1st slip next over) and then a spinner bowl the batsman with his second ball. Coulda watched all day.

Morning run with RobW. V sore left hammy. Think it must be from sanding rather than running as never had it before. Bit of early run stretching seemed to help.
