Had a bit of time to run this arvo and was running solo so thought I should set out for a 2hr run. It turned out to be what Bazorak would call a "fat burner" - slow and steady were once you get over a certain time (cant remember how long he used to say) you start burning the fat. It certainly was slow and steady solo listening to footy stuff on iphone. Ran down thru rani rd, up over black mtn, little black mtn, onto bruce ridge, oconnor ridge, back along bruce ridge, thru Gossan Hill and over red bridge home. Time passed as I plodded my way round and weary legs now which basically was the intention.

Hoggsters Famous 5 Hills. Most intensity Ive done for a while (Kooyoora was long last week and mentally intense but not much speed being exhibited). Seemed a bit closer to Hoggster than usual, probably reflecting his lax training, but then come the longest 4th hill I fell away. THat 4th hill my legs were full of lactic and the 5th, thankfully short hill, concrete.

Run from work in the dark and rain. Didnt have much time so just ran for Mt Taylor and first decent slope I got to I did hills on. Pretty short hill and not overly steep. Did 7 before time ran out.

This is 1 run split into 3 entries to get the categories. Couldnt do work run home due to work issues so ran from home over to Gossan Hill, then did 5*3min efforts through Gossan, UC and final one along LakeG foreshore. Efforts were prob 90% as few cough issues kept me cautious. Finished efforts at A&Zs childcare and then pushed them home. Inspired by ALJ its first time I've converted bike trailer into running pram and it was quite good.

Morning run with al. Got the lowdown on the Angry Dr. Pretty slow with some tiredness and some grief from blister (had to take orthotics out early on the run). Lots of water in the creeks and on the tracks.

Note

Given I felt like, and had, a beer tonight I decided time to remove myself from the sick list. Still some occasional random coughing bouts but lessening and only once a day.
