Running 44:13 [3] 8.0 km (5:32 / km)
ahr:130 max:147 shoes: Nike Air Pegasus26

ALJ and I both on parenting duties all day but both got to sneak out for a snappy arvo run. Gossan Hill, main Belco bike path, cross to cook shops and then i cut home via Dexter st. Felt fine to be out and about, even though it was freezing.

Orienteering 1:30:00 [3] 12.0 km (7:30 / km)
ahr:109 max:156 shoes: Brooks Cascadia 4 (Tractors)

Putting tapes out at Majura Pines with RobW for his event next weekend. Actual time was 2hrs23 so figure it was worth about 90mins - including approx 45mins of running from long run car park overthru saddle and back over Majura on way home. Feeling pretty tired tonight so must've done something.

Running warm up/down 26:34 [3] 5.0 km (5:19 / km)
ahr:128 weight:82.6kg

I wasnt keen on this mornings early morning run so went after girls in bed at about 730pm. Hadnt run since Wed arvo and felt pretty good so thought I should do hills. Strapped on ayup and went round aranda to DS Hill. Ran straight home afters.

Running hills 20:00 [5] 5.0 km (4:00 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Zoom Elite 4

6*DS Hills. Felt good beforehand but lactic on 1st. Settled in after that and times were a few seconds faster than when I do them in the morning. Last one decided to go hard - it was the last and no prospect of races on the weekend. Was shocked to see my time, despite being last hill, was 9s faster than previous 5. Am I slacking usually? too conservative? Dunno.

Note

If there was a column for working hard I would've ticked it today. I suspect compared to hard working blokes like Uncle Jim I wouldnt tick it very often but today I would've!

Running 38:01 [3] 7.0 km (5:26 / km)
ahr:127 max:142 weight:82.5kg shoes: Nike Air Pegasus27

Early morning run with ALJ. ALong what is becoming the usual loop. Bit sleepy but ALJ was chirpy so that brightened things up. Plenty of real estate and kiddy chat.

Cycling 1:20:00 [3]

Work ride. I think the earliest of early sniffs of spring could be detected. Very early though. On way home saw a dude with souped-up spokey-dokes - fluro light spokes of all different colours. Could see him a mile off. He wont get hit by a car. Well unless its deliberate - and fair enough with those annoying lights.
