Running 26:21 [3] 5.0 km (5:16 / km)
ahr:126 max:163 shoes: Asics GT2120

Another evening run in the heat. Same loop as Friday. Seemed a bit less hot. Saw a few people contravening watering laws but I was too hot to care. They looked appropriately guilty.

Running long 1:44:37 [3] 21.0 km (4:59 / km)
ahr:140 max:169 shoes: Saucony Triumph 5

Long run from my house with Hoggster, Rob and Searlo (!) although Searlo peeled off about half way. Gossan, Bruce Ridge, Black Mtn and home. Usual conversations about run route choice which result in Hoggster taking us the way he wants to go regardless of conversation outcome. The highlight of these was when we went "straight" home from the top of Black Mtn by heading out along the southern track, down close to push-bike hill, crackenback hills and Aranda paddocks. The heat was draining, even after starting out at 730am.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Span

Running intervals 18:33 [5] 4.0 km (4:38 / km)
ahr:130 max:147 shoes: Nike Air Span

Cockies O intervals round ANU organised by Miss Jones. Big group and fun as always. I was a bit off the pace mentally and physically and tried to up it a couple of times which only led to navigation mistakes. Coffee and turkish cinamon toast at Vanilla Bean afters with GrantM, Mace & ALJ. Toast was a bit dry but not so bad as to send back.

Running 18:33 [3] 4.0 km (4:38 / km)
ahr:130 max:147 shoes: Nike Air Span

An unexpected short window for running emerged so I capitalised. Ran from home to the humble abode of J.Bazorak. He was home and clothed, a double bonus, so gave him a small bag of home-grown peaches. He thanked me with stories of the Tour Down Under, Doggie premierships and Adelaide neo-yobos. Ran home.

Running warm up/down 29:00 [3] 6.0 km (4:50 / km)
ahr:121 max:142 shoes: Saucony Triumph 4

Run round aranda to DS Hill and run straight home from the hill. Felt leg-weary from first step out the door and Belinda was moved to say I "looked slow" when I ran off. Ta. Run was at 730pm post daddy-day-care which all 3 of us survived.

Running hills 18:00 [5] 5.0 km (3:36 / km)
shoes: Saucony Triumph 4

6 * DS Hills. Felt leg weary from the start and couldnt believe how slow the first hill was. Quads in particular tired and heavy. Considered not doing them after the 2nd but decided it was better to get them done slower than usual than to abandon. Times abysmal, 5-10s per hill slower than usual:
85 (129/156)
80 (140/160)
84 (139/160)
85 (139/159)
85 (142/157)
81 (142/161)
