Running long 1:56:01 [3] 23.0 km (5:03 / km)
ahr:147 max:174 shoes: Saucony Triumph 5

Long run with the Jones sisters for company. We decided to keep going past the triple-tri track up Mt Majura and see where we ended up. Got into some paddocks of private property and basically kept going round till ended up at the bottom of the service road up to Mt Majura (near the winery). Then up the road til the track down to the pines, pines running (including one section where we just seemed to run in circles), HH, Ainslie and back home. Was struggling up first part of Ainslie but found a decent rhythm after the flat junction. Miss Jones running strong and Al feeling her sore knee. We were thinking of calling the run the 'man-cold run' as when I told Belinda that Hoggster wasnt coming this morning she replied "Has his man-cold got the better of him?". No coffee afters instead a banana, creamy soda and some of Miss Jones sa-ka-ta's from the Hackett supermarket.

Running warm up/down 28:00 [3] 5.0 km (5:36 / km)
shoes: Saucony Triumph 5

Warm up down and back from lake.

Running intervals 25:00 [5] 6.0 km (4:10 / km)
shoes: Saucony Triumph 5

Two hard laps of Lake Daylesford. Thought I should do something harder and this was what I came up with. Not sure how long each lap was but somewhere between 2 and 2.5k. Legs still a little weary but pushed quite ok. Thought 2nd lap would be slower but happy to see amazingly even (note recorded 10th of a second to show slight difference).
Lap 1 10.42.0 (159/169)
Recov 3.01 (134/169)
Lap 2 10.42.5 (163/173)

Running long 2:13:13 [3] 24.0 km (5:33 / km)
ahr:132 max:159 shoes: Saucony Triumph 5

A ripper long run at Daylesford along the great dividing range track which mostly went along Jim Crow Creek (I think thats the creek name). Down to Lake Daylesford, through Twin Bridges, Tipperary Springs, Bryces Flat, the Blow Hole and then up from Breakneck Gorge to the Hepburn Reserve/Footy Ground. Ran back to Daylesford through Hepburn Springs along the road. The run was a bit of a remeniss over the selection trials that Andy & I helped Jimbo organise in the early 00s. Ran through the start of the long to the finish of the long and then back past the sprint start. Was a bit warmer than that weekend and even with twin girls I got more sleep than that weekend. Finished at the Food Gallery in Daylesford with the newspaper and cracker coffee. Glad to have run for more that 2 hours and nice to go through the Victorian bush once more.

Running 39:20 [3] 8.0 km (4:55 / km)
ahr:126 max:154 shoes: Saucony Triumph 5

After a loooong drive to Daylesford yesterday now ensconced in the parentals retreat. With grandparents on hand went for the usual trot down wombat hill to the lake, cut a lap and then trudged back up the hill. Felt pretty good even at trotting pace.
