Running long 1:43:42 [3] 19.0 km (5:27 / km)
ahr:145 max:170 shoes: Nike Air Persies3

Run from Congo down to some point or other and back, mostly with Nathan, Hoggster, Rob & Shep. ALternated between National park and running along beach. Beautiful. Hoggster & I cranked it up about for last 20mins while Shep & Rob chatted behind us. I guess we cranked it up for us!
HR details a bit dodgy as it conked out wiht about
40mins to go.

Running 37:00 [3] 8.0 km (4:38 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Persies3

run along the beach to and from Intervals. Hard to get a rythum on way out with tide in and running on soft sand. hard work - runing with Shep, Hoggster, Cowie, Nath, RobW & Searlo.

Running intervals 21:40 [5] 3.0 km (7:13 / km)
ahr:156 max:179 shoes: Nike Air Persies3

1minute sand intervals with approx. 1 min recovery. Exhausting stuff but great training and beautiful setting.

I dont want to get ahead of myself here and feel I am really jinxing myself by writing it but there appears to have been some weight movement. Looking back last week I listed myself consistently as 84.5 then 84 on the weekend and now an 83.

Cycling 40:00 [3]

ride into work and then to XC were I was on roster for helping. Was planning to ride home but was soft when offered a lift and took it.

Running 52:36 [3] 9.0 km (5:51 / km)

EPic Blob. ALJ, MissJones, Hoggster, RobWalt, Searlo with Em&NAt on the walking brigade. No sign of "Mr.Regular" Walders. Searlo & Hoggster had the usual intense and long winded negotiations about where to run. After arguing whether to run up Mt Everest or the Jungfrau they compromised on both and we ended up trekking up hill and down dale. BTW, for those interested, Searlo has had a bit of a promotion (in public service speak he's acting in a higher position rather than permanent) and consequently (a) is working his ar$ off and (b) has greatly reduced his training.
PS - HR monitor on the blink.Think it might be time to replace the battery.
