Very slow run from M&Ds around old haunts of Yallambie. Ankle a bit sore and the Captain joined me very early so really slugged my way round. Light rain. Enjoyed the tunes of RRR once more.

Enjoyable tempo run with Liggo, Rune, Waz & Milo. Along single tracks beside freeway and then round flats below Heidelberg. Lots of banter. Rolled ankle at one point which was a bit concerning but just a roll really. Minor swelling after.

Black Mtn with Andy, Velcro, DaveO & scotty & Adrian (last 2 for about 5mins). was steady and I couldnt have handled as fast as last week - bit tired from yesterdays hills. I think the others were a bit soft on me which was appreciated as I felt sure at the start I would drop out the back door.

ride home. slower than usual - bit tired. seems like planned rest day tomorrow would be wise.

Hill ints up Aranda with Shep, Hoggster and for a little while Belinda. felt good and pushed hard doing 7 ints alternating 1 or 2 light poles behind Shep & Andy. Hr at 170-172 by end of interval and returned to 130 by end of recovery.
