Not a bad tri. Started off a bad morning. Forgot wetsuit and it was a wetsuit swim. Wheel came off in warmup. So came out of water in 1st place in age group, 5th overall for gender, in 11:32.39. Had a good transition as I didn't have wetty to take off. Cycle a bit slower than usual as haven't done much over the past few weeks, 37:30.76 for 21km(33.6km/hr). Coach actually told me I did my 1st cycle of this year on a Saturday morning last week. Did get tired. Run wasn't great 22:13.38 pace 4:26. Probably 2 mins slower than normal but hip flexor was ok till about last km and only felt it niggle a little. So hopefully good for next Fridays event. Overall probably one of my slower Hillaries tri , at least 7mins off my normal time. Was a bit windy , glad I didn't have zip wheels on today.

Having a rest day. Was going to go to John Forest o event but resting hip flexor for tomorrow's tri and hopefully it will be fully recovered for NZ o races. Appointment with Physio Monday

First day in uni gym. Had assessment yesterday and trainer gave me a strength set to do. 2 week trial only. Legs and upper arms quite sore tonight. Didn't swim this morning had a sleep in and didn't do spin as tired. Trying to taper for Sunday Tri and hope hip recovers by then. Doesn't feel as sore tonight. Saw physio today had a massage.
