Running long 1:11:00 [4] 14.5 km (4:54 / km) +297m 4:26 / km
shoes: Adidas Supernova Control

Finally got in another long run. Ran from home up on to Nose Hill, up and down a few times. Not the nicest of days we've had lately but good for running nonetheless.

Thursday Mar 20, 2008 #

Running (Commute) 47:52 [4] 9.7 km (4:56 / km) +30m 4:52 / km
shoes: Nike Free 5.0 (grey/green)

Same as yesterday but I felt a little stronger and ran a little faster. Had a stitch threatening to strike but by actively re-engaging my core (pelvic floor I think) I was able to stop it and it eventually went away.

Running (Commute) 50:00 [4] 9.7 km (5:09 / km) +35m 5:04 / km
shoes: Adidas Supernova Control

To work, same route as last time but with a heavier pack this time. Legs got pretty tired in the 2nd half - good strength training I guess.

Running 39:00 [1] 5.4 km (7:13 / km) +15m 7:07 / km
shoes: Nike Free 5.0 (grey/green)

Very easy jog (and walk) from work at lunchtime with my colleague, Mike, who isn't a runner. Was nice going slow particularly on such a nice day.

Monday Mar 17, 2008 #

Running warm up/down 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Nike Free 5.0 (grey/green)

Warm up/down + floats

Running intervals 12:00 [5] 3.3 km (3:38 / km)
shoes: Nike Free 5.0 (grey/green)

3 x 4/3. Another H&H session but felt a stitch coming on during the 2nd int so took a longer float and made the 3rd the final one. Tried to push harder today, thinking I was possibly taking it a bit easy last time, but was hampered by a 35km/hr headwind during the 1st and 2nd ints which really took it out of me.
