Note

Easy week this week. No running planned for the weekend (going partying...) but with a bit of luck I'll get an hour in on Saturday.

On another note, I have done two fast sessions for the past few weeks, which I think is too much for this time of the year. What I am planning is to cut out the threshold run for now and replace it with a 60-80 minute midweek run to build up some stamina (although will be difficult at night...). I'll keep the terrain intervals though.

So a typical week for Nov-Jan could be:

70mins run Tuesday
50mins strength Wednesday
70mins intervals Thursday (of which 20 fast)
120mins long run Saturday
80mins O or terrain run on Sunday

that would be 6.5 hours if I managed. Will have to build up to it. Would be very happy if I did !!

Very happy with the effort, tough on the third loop but managed to hang in there. Nice course as you see the Eiffel Tower on half the course (and it sparkles from time to time), and it's nicely split into 3 minutes out and 3 minutes back, which makes it easier mentally.
