Running 2:00:00 [3] 15.2 mi (7:54 / mi)

Exploring new bits of Blue Hills with Kenny, crazy Will and Abi. First south of the highway around Ponkapoag Pond (40 mins), then west from Houghtons Pond over Little Blue Hill to Fowl Meadow Reservation, then back along the road for a bit and along the north side of Great Blue Hill. Finally a loop of Houghtons Pond. Tired at the beginning (esp. uphill), then better.

Orienteering 1:39:55 [3] 14.0 km (7:08 / km)

4x3km at Mashamoquet Brook, CT. (A downhill: 25.23, B downhill 20.36, C uphill 26.16, D uphill and setting 27.40). A beautiful day. Felt pretty tired overall, especially up the hills. Good navigation, though.

Running (forest) 52:08 [2] 6.0 mi (8:41 / mi)

With Kenny through Weston Reservation. Re-ran a green course (slowly), managed to make many fewer mistakes than the first time around! About half on trails, half off-trails

Spinning (hard) 40:00 [4]

This was tough today. I think I will definitely take next week off. Hopefully I can get a good weekend's training in before then.

Running 55:49 [4] 8.2 mi (6:48 / mi)

To Jamaica Pond, reasonably fast and including 11x30second strides at rep pace. Hopefully this will lead to intervals in a few weeks' time.

Legs felt strong (despite the gusty wind), brain felt weak..

Note

Rest Day. Meant to do some strength, but my back hurts a lot. Hopefully back up to speed tomorrow
