Attempt to rerun an old event at Fort Rock. Nice day if a little cold, but the forest was tougher than I had remembered it, and I decided to go out without a compass, which was a mistake because I got lost. Increasingly tired and bored towards the end, but ok.

Easy jog to loosen the legs...tired but it was warm outside and apparently this afternoon it will be pissing it down, as we say in England. Will do some strength later.

Spinning 50:00 [4]

Spinning class, the first one for a while. You guys should all do this, it's an amazing workout. You basically sit on a bike and pedal all the time, and there's a lady up front who tells you what to do (like "sprint" - pedal fast, "run" - pedal standing up, "hill" - pedal with harder resistance). You sweat so much, it's incredible, Great for supple muscles, too.

Jamaica Pond. A little sluggish, but ok. My left knee and left groin muscle started hurting halfway through...new shoes needed perhaps? I'll do non-impact stuff tomorrow (bike/stepmachine)

River to Harvard +1, in the dark (had exams today). It's not so bad once you get used to it, except that you have to run all on the asphalt if you want to avoid falling over. Lots of other runners out, as well.
