Running 1:40:00 [2] 15.0 km (6:40 / km) +700m 5:24 / km

Run in Zurich with Christina Ulardic: Train out to Sihlwald, up the ridge overlooking Zurich lake and back along all the way to Zurich (Uetliberg, down by train). Fantastic scenery (weather cold but nice), felt very tired especially on the initial 450m-climb, but the rest was ok. Great course with loads of ups and downs!

Running 43:13 [3] 9.5 km (4:33 / km)

Short run home through Bois, late (22h30). Tired, but enjoyable

Orienteering 2:42:56 [4] 23.6 km (6:54 / km) +460m 6:17 / km

Long-O at Vaux de Cernay, "RandO du Castor". Ran in a team with Abi. 7th overall and 1st team, but only just (2 minutes in front of the next team). Winner took 139, so about 23 minutes behind which is really not that bad considering current running form. Orienteering was mostly excellent (about 2 minutes total loss), but it certainly helped to have Abi there to share the decisions with.
Running wise surprisingly good, except that I really faded on the last 2k, which were practically along the same track.

One very sweet moment, when because it was mass start we had a bunch of people trailing us who were clearly just following. We stopped for about 30 secs, enough time for them to feel sufficiently embarrassed into running on by themselves. The strategy worked, because they ran off the wrong way and we managed to sneak through and get enough time on them to break away for good on the following controls.

Orienteering 33:58 [4] 7.5 km (4:32 / km) +50m 4:23 / km

Long Park-O at Cergy. Went only because my club organised, as the race itself was fairly pointless (easy orienteering, although I suppose it was a nice day)

No mistakes bigger than 10sec

Orienteering 56:45 [3] 9.0 km (6:18 / km) +150m 5:49 / km

Run with Abi in Buthiers. Was meant to be a 2-hr score O but we finished all of it in 56 minutes (apparently they had to kill some controls that were in hunting terrain..)

A really nice area though, glad we decided to come out even though we had to get up at 8 on a holiday..

Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

Some more terrain running with Anthony in Buthiers. Nice, must come back here one day

Orienteering 1:20:20 [3] 8.9 km (9:02 / km) +280m 7:48 / km

Regional race, Rocher de la Reine. Fantastically enjoyable for the first 3 controls (fluid, found them all, great forest), then got more and more tired and started making big mistakes. Not much fun near the end. Loads of time lost.

Running 46:24 [3] 10.0 km (4:38 / km)

Tourist run with Abi. Slow, but felt fast...

Running 1:00:44 [3] 13.0 km (4:40 / km)

Today is a holiday in France so I got another run in...around Paris again, with Anthony. Quite nice despite all the traffic, and pretty fast in places.
