Orienteering 2:35:00 [3] 13.4 km (11:34 / km) +560m 9:34 / km

Very fun Red Bull Alpitude race! The altitude and hills killed me. Pretty sure I walked the whole thing except the sprint in the start ..oops...

They even gave me a gps for the race!! I need to find that link now

I think I came 8th, not bad I guess! Wish I had followed my gut and taken the gondola up the mountain. Would've done better and had less climb #regrets

All in all tons of fun and I loved Arosa!

Note: only 100min race, the rest is warm up and a walk around cool down

O-Course filled with lots of tricky routes and traps. I have been feeling a bit under the weather so that and the combination of having not done a sprint in almost a month let to a bit of a choppy run.

Though I ended up picking pretty good routes, the fast paced thought process was only just starting to come back. I am looking forward for when I will be able to consistently improve for sprints like have have recently for forest-o!

A nice light recover ride w/ sofie. Some crazyyyy steep hills but a wonderful view of the Jura mountains and a bike ride along the Swiss Running Qualification route --> I'm basically as good as them now ;P

Intervals faster than current 3200 "goal pace" 10:15 for me right now. This was a really great first set of intervals. Excited for the next year of training in Europe! With 200m walk for rest.

I have decided that I will just make a short "get back into it" training plan so that I am ready for once I get to my school in Norway. Then I will discuss with my coach and work something out w/ orienteering
