Warm-up / Warm-Down 26:00 [3]
shoes: Asics DS Racers

Orienteering race (Danish Sprint Champs) 18:00 [5] *** 3.58 km (5:02 / km)
ahr:173 max:181 spiked:19/19c shoes: Asics DS Racers

Got to bed around 1am in the morning, but had a hard time sleeping due to stomac trouble. Up at 8:30 am.

Was a bit unsure on how the legs would cope with the tough 1½ hout Night-O and lack of sleep. Started hard on and got a good flow. Caught Rasmus Djurhus who started 1 mns ahead 1 way, but started feeling tired on the longish uphills. Still managed to stay focused and totally lost around 15-20 sec on a small error and running wrong direction out of a control. Ended 2'nd for the 2'nd time this w-end. Was almost 1 mns behind Claus Block.

Wasvery unhappy with yesterdays performance as I was in the game for the gold untill the last 1/5 of the course, but today I can only be happy with another Silver. Didn't expect I would be able to match those guys there didn't run the night.

Good to know I'm on track after an easy week. Still have to work with getting the speed back. The coming week is going to be a hard one.

Orienteering race (Danish Night-O Champs) 1:30:00 [4] *** 14.3 km (6:18 / km)
ahr:170 max:178 spiked:26/31c shoes: Asics DS Trainer

Haven't done to many night-O's this year but have trained a lot with head lamp, so felt comfortable. The O was a bit different than expected. Tought I had to do a lot of compas work, but the forest was denser than expected and it was a lot of running on paths. Did well in the beginning as legs was feeling okay. Caught a guy going into 7'th and made a small mistake. did a bigger on on 8'th and lost around 2 mns. Got well in to the navigation hereafter. First on the 6'th last I got into trouble again. Tried to take a control in some thick green safe, but over shot a little bit. The control was easy so should just have gone head on. Got into more trouble tying to find a little nol in some green and had to try 3 times before I found it! merde. Lost the concentration and lost anoter 2mns on the last 4 control.

Still managed a 2'nd place, as the rest of the pack did some big mistakes as well. A few runnes who could do well on the night didn't start due to the Danish sprint Champs tomorrow.

shoes: Inov-8 MudClaw270

Orienteering (Sprint training) 24:00 [3]
shoes: Inov-8 MudClaw270

To sprint trainings in Hillerød, on the city / Park map where the castle also is included. Wet and hevy in the terrain, not to similar or relevant for Danish Champs this w-end but good to navigate at high speed to get the feeling back.

Nice to be feeling okay in the legs. Jamie too kit easy and I was 10-20 sec faster than Thomas Jensen, so not bad at all.

Sprint 1 - 11:59
Sprint 2 - 12:24
