Medium-length run with Rob - neither of us feeling up to a long run or a trail race at cotter. Basically just did Black Mtn & back.

Still on Hobart, but staying in town, so got to sleep in a little more than yesterday. Also, was excited about doing my favourite run - up Hobart Rivulet. But, calamity -- the track was closed for repairs. So I faffed around for 15 minutes before I finally found a way into the park, a bit further upstream. Also, I had to find a new way home. This took me part-way up Knocklofty, which looked attractive for a longer, harder run one day soon.

Down in Hobart for work, so hung out at Jon & Cathy's, including a mildly amusing evening with a bunch of misfits -- Jon's Toastmasters club. The other socially awkward thing Jon does is that he gets up at 5:30 every single morning to run in the dark. How could I say no? So, off we trooped -- seeing the same people Jon sees every morning at that time. Went down through Kingston, to the end of Alum cliffs and back. Good way to start the day, except for the sleep deprivation.
