Rode the HH dirt roads with Stina. 60 deg dry windy day in Avon. About 48 deg, at Harriet. Paved road were dry, dirt roads were damp, wet, or melting compacted snow covered depending on their exposure to the sun. If not for the 30 mph wind it would have been a good day for a road bike ride. Rode the 29er instead of the 27.5. the big wheels and raciing Ralph's are noticeably faster than the 27.5 compination. A pretty easy pace ride. All in all a good day to be out. The least enjoyable parts were the wet, compacted snow downhills. The best part were the warn sunny spots and the valleys with no winds. Talked to one of the French brothers in the parking lot, he said he was able to ski in last week's snow.
