Roller skiing 1:31:09 [3] 17.78 km (11.7 kph)

The "Olympic route" with Stina. The first non-canal path rollerski of the season. ~60 ° with a north wind @~8 mph. Did not ski hard, but concentrated on technique. A very enjoyable day, I felt good the entire time. Used the rossy x-10 boots, they fit and worked well, past problems seemed to be the skier not the boots. The HRM is giving erroneous readings so no numbers are listed.

Biathlon, range 2:00:00 [1] 0.0 mi

Started off as a test of ammunition and morphed into a day working on my prone position and rifle set up. Up to this point I've not been happy with the way the stock fit in my shoulder and the small amount of room for my front hand. So I moved the hand stop forward which required I shorted the length of pull. Shortening the pull enough will require removing the super adjustable Anshutz butt plate and screwing on a home made unit. Sometimes I wish I was a standard size human, or that I had purchased the youth stock rifle.

Ocp with Stina.rode the black trail, to brown, to yellow to purple to red, to the campground trail. Nice night for a ride, tem ~70 ° and dry. The dirt was not sticking to the tires and I repositioned my light, so the tires were not slipping on the roots, and I could see better. I rode over all the black trail log overs except one. No problem with the climbs.

The canal path with Stina. Another warm night. I felt good and my technique continues to improve ie more forward less side to side motion. It will be interesting to see how things go when we start to ski the hills.
