Orienteering race 57:15 [4] 7.0 km (8:11 / km)

OY at Dalmoalk. Good course and beautiful area. Had a pretty reasonable run technically but couldn't run properly. Very shortened stride and could only run if I could see exactly where my feet were going. Pain was on the limit of what I could manage.

Orienteering race 16:00 [4]

OY sprint stage 1 at Concordia college toowoomba.
Started out well, but jarred my ankle a little on the way to #3 which slowed me down a bit. pain was manageable, but couldn't stride out. The first section of the course was technically good, but then made some mistakes on a couple of controls in the middle - one small, but one bigger one where I ran into an area that had a fence across the other end and had to back track a fair bit.

Orienteering race 14:00 [4]

OY sprint final. Started with a minute to catch on heather but figured that not losing more time would be the best to hope for. Started well but ankle got sore after the long leg and slowed down a little. Lost a bit exiting the second last and finished a few seconds behind heather.

Yoga 1:00:00 [2]

Hot yoga class. Another different instructor, solid class but a bit boring.

Running 40:51 [3] 7.36 km (5:33 / km)

Street o at ashgrove. The start wasn't great and I wasn't sure whether the ankle would go the distance but it loosened up and I was able to run ok, if a bit slow. Some good parts in the second half where I even felt a little quick...but only on the flat and in a straight line. Six mins behind Mikko...the gap was 2-3 before the ankle injury.

Yoga 1:00:00 [2]

Power yoga class at the new hot yoga studio at Toowong. been thinking about doing yoga again for a while, and this new place might be a winner. Location, class content and room temp all good. About the right mix of stretching and strength work. Much less stiff and sore than i was earlier.
