Circuit training (pushups) 10:00 [5]

pushups program made me start on week 3. total 72 pushups in 5 sets. the last set was a struggle. Dan was helpfully commenting on my technique (from the couch), and made me turn my hands out to use my triceps more (and made the last few sets even harder).

decided to have another go at the 100 pushup challenge, mainly because it actually gets me to do some strength work on a regular basis. started with the max pushups test. got 36.

Orienteering race 32:41 [4]

Night o at Bowman park. Fun course with some good route choices. Took a few controls to get used to running in the rough terrain, but went straight when I could. Ran a fair bit if the course with Mikko who was quicker but messier. I got behind a but at the end and tried an adventurous route choice which really didn't pay off.

(rest day)

Another rest day. While my motivation to train is high, my current inclination to do any exercise is very low. Maybe some cooler weather this week will help.

I had been thinking about running tonight but got home to find a slightly funky kitchen. Turned out to be a bag of rotten potatoes. Removal resulted in a very funky kitchen with full pantry clean out required.
