MTBO race 1:34:00 [3] 27.0 km (3:29 / km)

MTBO at Esk forest. probably would have been better off sleeping in. misting rain that was enough to be really annoying without actually wetting the ground, and certainly not enough to make the sand patches rideable. Never really got particularly motivated, and ended up getting beaten by a couple of minutes on course 1.

Dragged Imo and Dan out - Imo had some big adventures and ended up in a cow paddock off the map, but finished halfway down in course 1. Dan flew round, but had punched the wrong first control.
Helen and Craig raced as well - Craig was on his new bike he bought for $180 on e-bay which gave us all a good laugh. I think he had a rather frustrating day, and realised how much of a POS his bike really was (I don't think he really believed us). but he still finished in about 3 and a half hours!

trolls ride. started easy, but got stupidly fast through chelmer. managed to hold on till yeronga, but then got dropped. rained on us about 5 mins before coffee. took a while to realise what was going on!

training at Race Elements with Imo. Simon had a whole heap of new nasty exercises for us - the worst was an asymetric bench press where you have to hold one end of the bar so all the weight is in one hand and pulling you sideways off the bench.

usual trolls ride. still feeling a little tired from the weekend.

Orienteering hills 35:00 [3]

the usual anzac park hill run with Rachel... except I was totally shite and Rachel dropped me almost immediately. Rachel ran really well, but I just bludged around and skipped a loop to catch up. oh well, good to be out doing something I guess.

went climbing afterwards and had to shout gelati cos I used my knees.

5 * 2mins with 1 min recovery + jog back to track. wasn't feeling to great tonight, but didn't feel as bad as I expected.
