Orienteering race 1:07:33 [5] 9.4 km (7:11 / km) +250m 6:21 / km

OY at Goolman. I always like this area. Super fast spur gully, and this time not too much climb. Pretty clean run. A few poorly placed controls. Legs a bit heavy from yesterday but felt like i was running ok.
Less than a minute slower than James

NOL long. Big day out, and super tough, particularly in the first half. took some dumb routes which dragged me through a few too many of the steep gullies. Second half was a bit more fun.

NOL middle. Inside the fence. Really looking forward to this race, but took a little while to get my head back into navigating, so a bit sloppier than I should have been. wasted lots of bits of time early, but then got caught which switched on race mode. eventually got caught by a decent pack with Krystal and Tamsin. cool to hang on a watch the action play out in front.

Note

Long, cold, windy day supporting Dan doing Grafton to Inverell. 40km/hr head wind most of the day, and ~4C across the top of the climb and through Glen Innes. it warmed up a bit towards the end of the race.
He finished up 10th in Div 3, in 7:55.
