Ride from our fancy house at Cooroy with Rachel, Lance and Wendy. didn't feel too bad as long as I didn't go too hard, so made sure I didn't try to keep up with Rachel on the hills. I planned the ride, so we had our compulsory gravel adventure. I thought it was great fun. Rachel is shopping for a gravel bike.

Qld sprint champs. Fun course at nudgee college. Felt pretty ok running and less than a minute behind Rachel, but we both lost a bit of time at a control where the map was wrong. Went out to nudgee beach with Helen and the kids afterwards.

Trolls ride from Dayboro. Laceys Creek, Mt Brisbane Road, then Mt Mee over to the lookout. Fun ride - nothing flat. stopped for water on the way back through Mt Mee and had a 15km TT on Dan's wheel to catch back up to the group.

Detour for a coottha lap on the way home. There was a line of peeps in front of me at the bottom and i started a bit too fast, then had to hang on. Passed them all and didn't quite destroy myself.

OY at Bluestone. good course in the northern area that we haven't run in much over the last 10 years or so. recent update from geoff. pretty good to have somewhere we've been running in for 25 years seem a new area.

I was a bit tired and not paying enough attention. had a few wobbles early on, then missed seeing a track and totally overshot 14. the rest was ok, but a bit slow. got a reminder about not running in shoes with dobs in hard terrain. feet got smashed.

Brookfield with Clare. Nice morning, solid pace. Coffee was ordinary.

Watching tracking for the nz ultralong while i drink another post ride coffee (great to see they're back racing). Bit of a rugged day out! I promise not to complain about the hills at bluestone tmw.

Physio. went pretty hard with the needles into the back of my shoulder, glutes, piriformis, back and tlf. shoulder and tfl both got stirred up a lot and are quite sore now.
