pissed off and late this evening, so started a bit fast. died at the end though. the evenings are a bit cooler now - only mid 30s, but its been a lot more humid recently. it does mean that its possible to do more than a shuffle, at least for a little while.
10 min run and some strength work - mostly core. I'm pretty hopeless at this unless I have a program to follow. anything more complicated than 'start running' is a bit much for me by the end of the day.
something in my right glute is quite tight and sore. its been a bit sore for a couple of weeks, without anything making it better or worse. the last climb out of gap creek started to piss it off though. my back has been a bit tight, so i'll try working on that. another thing to keep an eye on.

anzac park lap. right glute thing seems to be ok while running.
out and back as far as where the track is still flooded. actually felt like running rather than plodding, but back and hips are still feeling a bit out.
plod along the mine track as far as the flooded bit. still very cool and humid, but not raining for that 40 mins. wicked head wind on the way out, but the way back was awesome.
spent all morning stomping around in mud and floodwater doing sampling and dam checks. this low pressure is still hanging around. raining - not heaps, but really windy so no fun being outside. certainly not at the point where I'd run in it yet.
