Orienteering race (U2 PBG) 42:02 [3] *** 3.6 km (11:41 / km) +115m 10:04 / km
ahr:189 max:207 spiked:23/23c shoes: Solomans S-LAB feelcross 3

Watch distance showed as 4.98km.

This was a great course just very physically and mentally demanding.

Took me a bit to get into the map at first, but once i was in the map i was all good until control #12. This was where i made a bigish technical error by miss judging where i was and actually running through the circle of the control i was going too. Did see some was that i could improve on that mistake for next events.

Rock Climbing (City Rock indoor climbing) 7:00:00 [3]

Spent most of the day testing my core strength and flexibility at City Rock with a few friends of mine. Did multiple of difficulties on the wall climbing.
Worked on a bit of explosive power while doing some bouldering courses.
This required some good route thinking and good physical strength and endurance.

Did a bit of random control picking on some old maps and worked on route choice decisions.

Did fitness along side my team that i am Coaching.

3 x slope sprints up and back down (around 50 m with climb of about 40 m)
3 x stair near hockey parking area sprint all the way up to the top and back down
5 x sprint up the main grandstands and back down again

stretch out while doing a talk on control descriptions

played around with a Frisbee for the last few minutes that were left
