Have been experiencing sciatica for several weeks now, and waking up around 5 too uncomfortable to get back to sleep. Exercises I got from the physio helped a bit but sometimes seemed to aggravate it more. Yesterday I remembered I had a tens unit in the cupboard which I used about 8 years ago when I had sciatica and back pain before my op. Used it 4 times yesterday with immediate benefit. Slept through to 8, pain not too bad when I woke. Not completely sorted in a day, but a big improvement!
