Warm up down down down to parkrun with Al from her place

Running race 20:04 [3] 5.0 km (4:01 / km) +12m 3:58 / km vdot: 49.6

Parkrun - first time without a pram. Felt ok - happy to finish though! Got cold hands, will keep my gloves on next time. If the course was 5km according to my garmin I would have done 19.58, damn!! Should have sprinted the last bit.
Oh and they've shortened the course so it's much closer to 5km now

At Alive Fitness - where it will be for the rest of Winter. Such a shame! Next week will be my last... I prefer to be outside and it's going to double (!!) in price. Might give something else a go, not sure yet. Could just replace it with an easy bridge to bridge.. Anyway today was a mix of everything. not too bad but since I haven't been going every week, it's showing!

Stuffed the third int by looking at my watch and seeing I had done over 3km so thought the watch hadn't beeped so I started walking trying to work it out but really it was (obviously) because I hadn't quite covered the 3rd km of my int yet (didn't realise the recovery counted in that total, dumb dumb me). Anyway, that was silly. Next time I'll keep running until I get beeped at! Oh and then I noticed that the little person in the watch is running when I should be doing the int and hunched over during the recovery, funny!

Made up for stuffing around in the 3rd interval by running hard back to the gate

Midweek metro @ Black Mountain

Cracker day to be out. Just 2 annoying mistakes today. On the way to #3 I dropped too low and hit the track so I ended up running on that to get to the control. Got 4 (wide left track option around Little Blackie) and 5 ok and then came a cropper on #6. Was going straight when I saw a control on a termie next to a watercourse. Silly me thought it had to be my #10 (it wasn't, it was on another course) so I changed direction and headed up. Hit a track which wasn't going the same way my track was supposed to be going. Finally worked out where I was and corrected. Nothing disastrous, but pretty silly. Got the rest fine. About 3 mins behind Lizzie, but you know, she spent yesterday hunting for tags... ;-)

Had semi-planned to go to the track for intervals this arvo but Grant worked overtime. Was quite pleased to miss out on 5 x1200s then 200s.Could have done a lamp run... But didn't :-)

Lovely lunchtime run with Cathy (& Zaf). This time we both turned up in white long sleeved running tops and blue 3/4 tights! Did the cutoff museum loop. Still a bit sick - annoying.

Run with Al from her place. Without meaning to look the same we both wore fluro yellow tops, 3/4 tights and black and pink sauconys. Nice run in the middle of the day, not feeling great though.
