ORIENTEERING ◪ race 1:20:59 [5] 11.2 km (7:14 / km) +550m 5:48 / km

Final SS for the year, got out early before the rain, went straight on the 1st long leg, was a min behind Bruce, got Bruce back 2 min on the long leg to 14.
Overall I bet the big Ev by 5.22, so after 2 days this weekend, I came out in front (-:
Good result for Bendigo, top 4 places

RUN warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Warm down with Dave and Leon, it was starting to blow a little, and getting cold, glad that I started early, it was bad enough when I was out there on the exposed side of Mt Tarrengower

ROAD BIKE 1:30:00 [3]

Rode to the Bendigo event, Started out with Leon and Bryan, at half way, Bryan puntured, one wonders why he hadnt puntured earlier as he had a lot of canvas showing, Got out my repair kit, Thats right, he doesnt even carry a repair kit, or a spare tube. Fixed it but the tyre was in bad shape so he waited for his mother, who was driving to the event. Leon and I went on together, the L-Train was struggling towards the end.

ORIENTEERING ◪ race (Bendigo Club Champs) 40:08 [5] 7.4 km (5:25 / km)

Big Ev is on fire!! 37.15, next was Warren Key, in 38? then myself 40.08, followed very close by Toph, Johnny Maher and Dave Brownridge who all ran under 42. Bryan (43.10) started 3 mins in front and I ran him down with 2 controls to go.
Good to see all those young blokes running so well.

WALK 20:00 [2]

Walked home after dropping the truck of at the mechanics

MTB 10:00 [3]

Rode up to the res to do reps

RUN tempo (Clara reps) 16:00 [5]

I DID it, I finally got to the road!!!!

And returned Decided that today was going to be the day, this was my last chance to do it this season. Maybe it helped that I ran in my racing flats, or maybe it was the 5 slices of Nutella, Cheese and Honey I had before I went. Went out hard, no guts no glory, ran over the road with 15 secs to go, (So much time), got back with 5 secs to go, cant say I did it easy, but I did get there and back.

WALK warm up/down 4:00 [3]

Trying to catch my breath, had to keep moving

MTB 10:00 [3]

Road the bike home
