Long uphill run from Galgenen-Hirschloch-Grabenegg-Ruchweid-Pfiffegg-Sattelegg and a little extra at the end. The first 65mins were completly uphill then nice and undulating at the end. Beautiful cool, clear, sunny day with views over the lake at the start and over the freshly snow capped peaks at the end.
Surprisingly my body felt good the whole way, though legs a little stiff and tired. Lastnight I helped out at the sport club's big two yearly performance - my job was serving people for dinner and drinks at their tables, there till 4am!
Didn't go the Büdner OL because am a little wary of the ankle, and really just felt like going running.

Glarner Stadtlauf. 3 loops of a course through the town with lots of corners and a little up/downhill, people cheering and the smell of roasting chestnuts and melted smelly cheese on the arena run throughs, surrounded by snowy peaks.
I didn't have a good warm up- searching for the people with my start number and regretting having eaten too much breakfast too late. Started too easy, and never really felt fast (not surprising given lack of speedy training). But pleased/surprised to be under 4m/k.
Morning run through Löliwald, up to Luegeten, then at the end some drills and pylometrics. Freezing cold!
About 10mins away from home I sprained my L. ankle. It was really painful for a couple of minutes then jogged tenderly home. No swelling and still mobile but a bit sore in the afternoon. Iced 3x
recovery run. Legs felt a bit tired at the start, better towards the end though a bit lethargic the whole time. Ran around the vineyards because the forest gets dark so quickly in the evening.
Cold still in the head and throat a bit.
