Sore throat and headachey, but went for a lovely walk in the sunny hills with Tobias.

Ran from Pfaffikon (our flat) to Galgenen (our garden/Tobias' family house) over the foot hills. Absolutely heavenly country spring sunshine, the birds are singing again and i could smell the herbs growing in the fields.
Running felt good and did three hard tempo efforts:
10mins up, up, up
13mins up, flat, steep up
10mins gradual up, flat
then finished with 5x 30sec hard/30sec easy
L knee feeling a bit ITB achey just at the end

In the afternoon I developed a headache, sore throat and felt generally a bit lousy.

Run up to the Etzel Ost map to check out some forest and the finish area. Didn't feel great so didn't go too hard (stomach felt kind of winded/punched and I couldn't get my HR up). I'm looking forward to getting the new map and being able to set my courses soon!

late lunchtime run from Galgenen
10x 60sec gentle-moderate hill with 30-60sec rec depending on the Terrain
5x 40sec steep hill with very steep finish rec jog back down 70secs (Galgenen bench view hill for future reference times 38,42,36,39,37)
managed to get the max HR higher than in a long time and legs were burning on the steep hills. It felt good to push :) an old lady out walking looked a bit concerned when I collapsed huffing and puffing after the last one..
