Long run in the forests around Bullengarook with Jas. Felt ok, bit tired in the second half. Good to get a few hills in. Beautiful forest :)
Then ate pancakes with icecream and maple syrup, then swam in macedon waterhole and poicked HEAPS of black berries mmm

did 1min-2-3-2-1-30sec-30sec
with 1min recovery and 30sec recovery for the last two 30 sec ones
felo ok, took a while to feel like i was pushing hard enough in the first few

Run along Merri Ck in the semi dark- always gets the adrenalin pumping! The creek is in its weekly state of flood again...
Felt pretty good and was going at a reasonable pace, I expected to feel tired after a week of not enough sleep. Legs felt ok. My left knee has been feeling a bit 'weak' or 'unbalanced'.

Went to Aths training. Got sent off to do laps of Princess Park with 2 other girls, which is always what happens when you havent turned up for a while! We did three longish intervals.
10mins warm up, 12mins warm down, 5mins recoveries between

Three intervals with about 5mins recovery, though the recovery wasnt that easy either.

2:43 hr 164/171 This was the same as the first int, so I got a bit faster!
Ran with Julie who was just the right pace to push me. Havent done much (any) intense training for a while so didnt expect much, but good to get back into something that feels like real 'training'.
Left knee felt a bit iffy

rode my MTB which actually made me ride much harder.

Ran up Merri with Martin on the bike. some faster bits to keep up but also some stops to check out the local sites.
