I couldn't face orienteering today so Jas and I drove to the great ocean road and did an awesome run up Cumberland river/hills. Followed by freezing ocean swim then river swim to clean off and dinner on the beach. Felt quite good.

Spring Gully. Beautiful day and a really good course I thought. Lost about 1min on #3 in the tricky river flats near the start. Ran some sections really well but was sloppy in other parts. Also took a bit of a slow route on the long leg and lost another minute on #19. 4+ mins behind Kathryn, also Ilks and Tash, who all seemed to have had great fun running in a pack!

Nice morning for a run. Felt a bit slow to start but better towards the end. Also L leg bothered me, worst for the first 10mins.

Jess thought it would be light by 6 but we waited till 6:30 to go out. Beautiful spring morning on the single tracks up the Yarra, i should get up early more often! We went further upstream than I ever had and discovered many new trails! We are also much braver than before, I made it over a few big dips that I never used to think possible!
Followed by awesome scrambled eggs, avocado, mushies and salad on toast at home :)

Easyish tunnel-yarra run after a 30min arvo nap. Legs a bit tired, expectedly, and sore lower inside left calf/shin.

Really struggled, even more than my first time, maybe because it has been a while since last time, or maybe a bit dehydrated from the racing and more toxins in my system. Anyway, managed to stay in the room but lay out for quite a few of the postures.
