NSW long. I got into the map much better than yesterday, runinng the first part of the course without any real mistakes. Caught Aislinn at 8 and started racing a bit harder. Was a little off on 10 then we both went really wide on 11. I rushed 13 and 14 and had to search a little in the green for 14, then ran out of 14 in a rush 180degrees off so maybe lost almost 2mins on 15. Settled after that and ran well from 15- finish.
Physically it wasnt as dismal as I expected. I was a bit slow and tired quickly on the hills but pushed hard and was still managing to run well at the end!
9mins behind Jock Davis (who flew past me early on)

NSW middle. Didnt go to plan- I planned to be careful and have good attk points. Somehow I started to quickly and made a really stupid mistake going to the second controll and when I managed to get a few metres from the controll I totally lost confidence and thought I was elsewhere till I was caught by the guy 4mins after me.
Needed to take things a little slower. Kept losing contact and eventhough I was in the right places I wasn't confident.
Physically a bit weak on the hills but tried to run hard.
About 4 mins behing Aislinn.

Run sround the Yarra, tried to getg as many hills as possible. Felt much better than running last week, though bit tired/unfit towards end. Outside of R knee felt tight at end.
Ran with a map for about 10mins and a bit of terrain.

Note

Didnt do any training while in adelaide. Have had sorethroat etc for nearly 2 weeks now, not getting worse or better really. Few late nights over the weekend prolly didnt help.
