Knee really sore to run, esp because of the scabbing but also bruised. Def too sore for a long run!

Rode to Aldinga to watch the tour.
30mins down to wets beach to meet the guys, then along the bike path following the southern expressway and almost to McLaren flat then Aldinga. Caught the race a few times along the way and at Aldinga.
Back to Noarlunga after to get the train.
I had my first (and hopefully only) crash on my roadie. Not really sure how as I was on a totally flat bike path, I just got a wobble and ended up on the dirt heading for a tree, luckily I hit the ground before the tree!
Grazes on my right knee, hip and elbow, and very sore muscles all over when I woke up the next day.

I watched the 1000's of riders going up gorge road at 6.30am (for the TDU stage 4 course) and felt a bit jealous so got my bike and rode from Mt Pleasant to Angaston. Great day out and awesome atmosphere in the towns. Watched the race go up Menglers hill and I scored a drink bottle which a rider chucked at the start of the climb!

Ran across to Morialta via the streets, then ran up to deep view and down shorter way and back thru the streets.
Felt ok though quite hungry and lacking energy at the end.

Did fartlek intervalsbefore work. It was a bit hard to get up after being slowly roasted over night...but it was so nice and cool out early!
Did 4x 15s, 2x 30s, 1x 60s to warm up leg speed, then went into regular fartlek session 2x 90s, 4x 0s, 4x 30s, 4x 15s with same rec.
Focused on leg speed and style (lifting feet quicker and using arms).
Bit more like ints than fartlek (faster)

Warm up (actually cooled down after leaving the hot house..) and running drills before doing ints.
Rec between ints.
Warm down- pre breacky hunger hit about 3mins from home, felt good otherwise.
Felt MUCH better than the ints I did a week ago with tash, even though Iv run every day since!

15 to work
after work rode to the pool but realised I forgot my bike lock so had to miss out (very sad, I was really looking forward to swimming after a hot day in the bike shop, probably too crowded to actually swim though on a day like today)
Anywas roda home the long way along the single track, yay fun!

Morning tunnel loop. Was Hot! Fell over on the single track and grazed both knees so hobbled a bit but was ok.
