Morning yoga after walking up one of the bluffs. Right knee is sharp sore since yesterday. I'm not allowed to complain though because I didn't stretch after the sprint.

Joined the Melbourne crew at Gorge road and rode up to Birdwood to watch the tour. The Gorge Road hill seemed smaller than I remembered (thanks Switzerland!) and the temperature was really pleasant. I absolutely loved the ride :)

Birdwood to Cudlee Creek to watch the rest of the tour on TV. It felt like riding through a furnace!

Back home from Cudlee Creek. Glorious down the steep part of the Gorge but I was starting to feel pretty done on the many sneaky ups, barely moving up the last stretch home.

Street O Goodwood. SO hot and I was such a plod, but the controls were more interesting than I anticipated.

Swim in unley pool straight after the run to cool off. It felt great and I want to get better at swimming this summer!

Morialta!! Up deep view with the crew, then did an easier bit over and then to the base of first falls before meeting up again. Standing at deep view lookout felt glorious and it was nice to realise I can still love running when unfit!

Was having a much needed stretch when something tweaked in my back ribs which is now really painful when I breathe.

My first proper run (>more than 30mins, more than a light plod) since WOC! That deserves an AP comeback ;) I've been experimenting with a non-running lifestyle..
Lovely cool morning in the hills with some Arrows. At first it was my lungs which were most surprised to be running, in the last 20 mins my hip flexors and ITBs really tightened up a lot. Other than that I felt ok.
