little run. I had a long day at uni and i got home just as the others were leaving, but I went along for the first 30mins. Was a bit deprived of food/energy to go for longer or harder but felt good foro the bit i did.
Will try harder to eat properly when Im out all day at uni. On the plus side I got my assignment done!

Took the Boulevard route which is my new favourite way.

Running hills (PM streets) 41:00 [4]

Big triangle loop with 8x 1min hills. Recovery varied from 30sec-2mins depending on the location of the hill. Felt good and finished hard, but I had an annoying stitch in the LHS of my chest- back is probably a bit tight.
I will find a proper steep hill down by the river next time so the intervals are more consistent.

Power lacking a bit because I havent ridden long for a while.

Longish run along the yarra with Tash, Torgier, Reubs and Kez. Struggled to keep up in the last 20mins esp on the hills. Legs feeling ok though. Quite a hardish run for me.

Tempo run- I ran downstream from Chandler bridge for 15mins (made it to the bottom of the bats hill for future reference) then turned back, pushing for a negative split which I got!
Felt good, pushed well, a good way to makle sure I do my hard runs hard till the end.

Warm up then some stretches and running drills.
It was dark by the time I got home.
Its great having housemates to train with but I enjoyed my solitude today.

Early run with Kez and Reubs- my first run in daylight! Legs felt a bit sluggish after lastnight and struggled with the hills in the last 20mins.
Toilets at the bat park weren't open so I had to find a bush, someones dog nearly found me..
Shorter than planned because of a bit of pain/tightness in my right leg so I have to make sure I stretch and give my calves a massage tonight.

Running hills (PM streets) 57:00 [4]

I have enjoyed one month of being pretty lazy, but training has started again with my first hard session since woc.
Ran with Reubs and Kez around the big triangle via Tash's place. I ran each hill hard, as a varied hill intervals session. Started off feeling good but struggled a bit with the last ones, wasnt recovering so well. Tash ran all but the first 2 with me and that definitely helped; we were around the same pace but it seemed like I was working harder.
Times for the hills: 1:49 2:31 4:03 2:09 1:43 2:16
Recovery varied from 1min to 4.5mins.

To uni and back via Johnston st. It seems to take 25mins not 20 like I immagined. Rode quite hard.

Night run with the boys around the on a new street loop. Quite quick pace, had to push the hillsa bit to keep up but felt ok. Cold is getting better.
Legs tight in a few places, need to make sure I stretch more.

Monday night run from the Key's. Basically the small triangle (the others did the big triangle but my throat was really hurting in the cold air) Legs etc feeling ok, just this annoying cold.

Soft...Slept in and watched the rain from inside. The guys came back from their early ride just about hyperthermic and it took an hour to revive Reubs with warmth n milo so Im glad I stayed in.
Also my cold isnt going away.

Rode to uni via Johnston st, a few more hills but at lest there is a bike lane. Back the long way via the Boulevard which was very nice.

Same run as monday (the 'small triangle') Pushed the 4 hills a little bit harder. The hills are about 3, 3, 5 and 2mins.
Right hip still tight.

It was going to be Liggo's housemate intervals but Liggo didnt turn up by 7pm so we just ran around the 'big triangle' (Kilby-High-Princess st) without him.
A muscle in my right hip was really sore and tight.
