Mon night run from my new place (with Ilks) in Parkville :) Felt very homely to have everyone around.
Legs a little sore/tight from yesterday and felt very tired.

Ran the first loop quite hard then ran out of puff a bit. Had a few ppl behind me then caught Tracy but got ahead and ran the last few k's alone. Mostly clean though could have made more exact route choices? About 6mins behind jas and karhryn. Felt terrible afterwards- tired and achey, but a few hours sitting in a warm cafe in Woodend reading did the trick, as did the bucket of blackberries i picked :)

Morning to work.
Evening home from work cocktail party, funniest ride of my life.. though i'm relieved we pulled through alive. Three of us + unneeded bottle whisky, decided to ride home in the pouring rain- took many hours and invloved one or all of us crashing into the ground, a bush or each other every few hundred metres. covered in graizes and bruises now. And we only made it half way before bailing to a taxi. twas a hoot!

Ran from uni in Royal Park- so luck to have such a nice park so close to the city, with thigh high grass to run through! Felt exhausted (humidity or low iron?) and short of time after finishing work late, but squeesed in a few intervals.

Long run in the forests around Bullengarook with Jas. Felt ok, bit tired in the second half. Good to get a few hills in. Beautiful forest :)
Then ate pancakes with icecream and maple syrup, then swam in macedon waterhole and poicked HEAPS of black berries mmm

felo ok, took a while to feel like i was pushing hard enough in the first few

Run along Merri Ck in the semi dark- always gets the adrenalin pumping! The creek is in its weekly state of flood again...
Felt pretty good and was going at a reasonable pace, I expected to feel tired after a week of not enough sleep. Legs felt ok. My left knee has been feeling a bit 'weak' or 'unbalanced'.

Went to Aths training. Got sent off to do laps of Princess Park with 2 other girls, which is always what happens when you havent turned up for a while! We did three longish intervals.
10mins warm up, 12mins warm down, 5mins recoveries between

Three intervals with about 5mins recovery, though the recovery wasnt that easy either.

2:43 hr 164/171 This was the same as the first int, so I got a bit faster!
Ran with Julie who was just the right pace to push me. Havent done much (any) intense training for a while so didnt expect much, but good to get back into something that feels like real 'training'.
Left knee felt a bit iffy

Ran with Jas at hanging rock, except she forgot her shoes and was running in thongs so we ended up just climbing some rocks and trees and chatting in the sun. then ate bread and cheese in a paddock like we had just been on a long run... oops

rode to and from abbotsford with my bro for dinner at lentil, yum :) Flooded rivers galore- a few detours and perilous bridge crossings!

Left it late to run (8:30) so had to run the streets more than usual. Ran to Prinny via capital city trail for a partial lap and back. Only stopped once to check out an awesome owl just a few metres above the ground. Shared some wisdoms before it flew off into the night. Felt really good compared to yesterday just becuase of the cooler weather.

Again making the most of my free uni gym membership, which meant I was in the indoor 25m pool, with a water temperature of 29 degrees!!! hardly refreshing! Didnt count laps at all and it meant I could think about other things more and it wasnt so boring.
