walked the course to "test" my hip/glute issues. Got past the initial pain after two controls but an hour plus of walking was a little too long. Lots of pain later that evening. Poor route choice to 6 and parallel error so didn't do well which through me off going to 7 (another parallel error). Learned I get very distracted by other people, especially on the first event of the season! And forgot to stop my watch until I got home so adjusted the timing/distance!!
