orienteering (Middle Earth Sprint) 33:27 [3] 4.46 km (7:30 / km)

MAP: Rotorua CBD, Rotorua town, 2.2 km, 17 controls.

Last 5 controls were fine:) Struggled at 2 (control hidden in plan sight!), 6 and 8.

orienteering (Middle Earth Long) 1:45:50 [3] 4.7 km (22:31 / km)

MAP: Whakarewarewa, at Rotorua Redwood Forest, 4.7km, 16 controls.

Had fun initially in the open forest and fields; got lost in the green and then on the confusing path system.

orienteering (Oceania Middle) 1:01:54 [3] 2.5 km (24:46 / km)

MAP: The Rockery, Onewhero 2.5 km 14 controls

Had fun on this map until I fell and covered the map and me and mud and started following the route from 8 to 7 instead of 6 to 7!! After I finally found 7 was better able to run:) Didn't record the distance run.

orienteering (Relay) 41:53 [3] 2.5 km (16:45 / km)

MAP: Kereta, at Lake Kereta, 2.5 km, 15 controls.

Had fun running the relay on a composite team (with Angela P and Rhianna J). Not sure of the distance.

orienteering (Oceania Long) 3:13:35 [3] 10.71 km (18:05 / km)

MAP: Rototoa, Woodhill Forest at Lake Ototoa, 4.2 km, 17 controls.

Well if I got a lot of mileage out of the WMOC Long, not sure what to say here! Lost from the start - relocated 3 times to find 1. After 2 hours and still at 8, I joined forces with another orienteer just to visit all the controls! The best you can say is I persisted! Not sure of the distance as forgot to write it down

orienteering race (Oceania Sprint) 18:37 [4] 2.2 km (8:28 / km)

MAP: Carrington in Auckland 2.2 km, 18 controls

Slow start with new progressive glasses but felt the last half was strong. Distance of race, not my race.
