Orienteering 41:55 [3]

Sandringham sprint training.

Hot. What a lovely way to spend a Sunday evening! Match raced with Lanita - I lost the first one convincingly, and neither of us did the second one properly so let's call it a draw. Skipped some controls that involved going through the dunes (especially on the second course). Legs didn't have a lot of zip in them!

Riding 1:30:00 [3] 29.0 km (3:06 / km)

Rolled down to Sandringham with a tail wind :)

Felt a bit sorry for the Round the Bay people coming the opposite direction!

Riding 30:00 [3] 8.3 km (3:37 / km)

Just when I thought I was done for the night.

The speccy lightning show we saw (well, I didn't because I was facing the wrong way) apparently took out the Upfield line signals. So back on the bike at North Melbourne. Started tipping it down after about a minute, so sheltered for a while and put on my coat.

Pretty spent by the time I got home!

Running 21:12 [4] 5.0 km (4:14 / km) +23m 4:09 / km

Coburg Parkrun. Happy International Parkrun Day!!

Smashed it! Coburg PB for me :) First female. And the quickest I've been in a long time! Started fast and thought after 200m "oops I've overcooked this". But held on. Was gaining on Mr 100 Parkrun on the hill on the way back up to the naked man, but then he had more of a finish kick than me and pulled away a bit.

Ran with Garmin which was super useful at motivating me :) I would upload it but I don't know how anymore.

Good day out for Bendigo Orienteers at Parkrun (or it would have been if one wasn't running for SLOW...) with a win in Bendigo and a first female in Coburg.

Orienteering 28:30 [3]

Sprint course around Melbourne Polytech. Legs felt a bit sore (right shin) to start with but got better (although not quicker). Technically dsq (if that's possible in training) for going through an open gate (twice) that was marked as impassable. Pretty brutal finish with laps up and down the slopes around the boathouse.

Running 37:00 [3]

Nice little jogski around the Yarra (in daylight!!!) with Jayne (and behind Reuben and Matt, who didn't even look like they were trying). My legs still work fine :)
