Orienteering 57:58 [3] 4.0 km (14:30 / km)

State series. Deadman's Flat.

Didn't enjoy the gorse as soon as I left the triangle!. So proceeded to waste 6 mins on the first control.

Thought I'd done ok for the rest, but in hindsight had misses on 3, 13 and 17 and lost a little bit on 11 and 12.

Wish I had have realised it was 2.5m contours before I went out. I need to learn how to orienteer and run again. Absolutely beautiful day out though!

Bendigo local. Smiths Reef.

Really enjoyed the course setting. Navigation generally went ok (though 3 weren't quite as expected). Tried to run, but over 20 mins down. I think my expectations are linked to a (non-existent) higher level of training.

Even with a 0:00 finish split, Winsplits says I was the slowest :(

First creek run in ages (even if it was only for a short bit). Legs felt very slow and tired.
