Orienteering 34:53 [3] 3.5 km (9:58 / km)

Thylacine sprint (I found one!), Pittwater.

WinSplits says no mistakes. I did make the rookie error of running to 8 first instead of 1. Couldn't find it though, and realised what I was doing. Somehow found 1 fine despite not knowing where I was coming from. Interestingly, wasn't clean navigating back to 8 (via 1 as it was on the way). Good other than that.

Enjoyed the weekend's orienteering. Glad I went, despite not being able to run well. Now to get uninjured and fit :)

Orienteering 1:21:43 [3] 5.8 km (14:05 / km)

Pittwater 'long'.

Didn't enter elites due to my distinct lack of running of late - pretty happy I didn't given how I ran!

Started off ok again. Hesitant into 5, and close but no cigar to 6. Then ok until I left 11. Wandered around for a bit wondering if I was finding marked tracks or just patches of sand. Ok into 12 once I found a definite track and relocated. Really messed up the long leg to 13. Took the safe route out to the track. But then didn't go far enough (while convincing myself that I had). Went round in a few circles, and was about to bail out to the track again when I followed some footprints around the corner to my control. Lucky. Good through to the finish.

Orienteering 48:16 [3] 3.5 km (13:47 / km)

NOL middle, Pittwater.

Beautiful start location. It was already feeling like a struggle on the walk to the assembly area.

Started well (slowly, but it was nice to see a control where I was expecting to see #1). Had a little bit of luck on a few, but was mostly clean until 10 which I searched for a while with Lanita and Sarah after the trees weren't helpful. Lost contact between 12 and 13, but luckily hit the track. Smooth through the last bit.

Impressed by the other women getting around so quickly.

Running 25:00 [3] 3.95 km (6:20 / km)

Long run. Legs felt like lead at the start but a bit looser at the end. Foot/achilles pains as usual.

Riding 50:00 [3]

Forgot to check my watch so not sure how long I was out. Left it too late and it was rabbit hour by the time I was coming home.
