MelBushO 1 at Westerfolds.

Woke up still not feeling great with my cold (but appreciating the extra hour sleep) and went out to o. Very happy with my decision to run B (sorry Jayne!). Actually felt ok when I started running, but just took it easy which was quite enjoyable. Compass didn't seem to be working so well (or a poor workwoman blaming her tools?). Nice day out.

Was gradually getting a slightly sorer throat in Canberra, which turned into a drippy nose on the train back to Melbourne, and today turned into a stuffed head.

Easter Day 3, Foxlow Flats

Enjoyed today again, after yesterday just being a long slog. Chasing start meant there were people around who I had some hope of keeping up with (saw Nicola B for a lot, despite taking some different route choices) which gave me some motivation and a little bit of fighting spirit.

Went right to 1, avoiding the green. Got a good split to 4 after finding it before 3. A bit high on 8. Kept to the track on 9 (Nicola went around the hill, but I figured I'm pretty slow through terrain which was a good decision as a gained a little bit). Nice day in some nice forest.
