Running 1:05:01 [3] 10.92 km (5:57 / km) +78m 5:45 / km

Finally made it out for a 65 min run as per Clare B1's instructions. Just plodded around for a while. Tried to push on the hills. Knees were a bit sore which doesn't bode well for Mystic and coming down Feathertop.

Orienteering 19:10 [4] 3.4 km (5:38 / km)

Sprint into Spring race 1, VU St Albans.

Punched all the controls, in order = success.

Sulked in the morning because I thought I'd finally succumbed to my housemate's/workmate's colds, but maybe it's just hayfever. Felt better than expected running, and was pretty clean. A few hesitations - something to work on over the season.

Disappointed Blair will be a no show for the rest of the series - whose scalp should I try for instead? ;) I think I'm going to make the most of my (limited) stair climbing and go for polka dots.

Total time on the bike in cycling kit: about 40mins

Same ride as last week, with a detour around the bird. Not sure whether I prefer to be attacked by wildlife or dice with cars on Sydney Rd. Warm evening, but so nice and cool and fresh down along the creek.

Jog to the creek after work. Not feeling great. Legs were feeling sore at the start. By the end they were mostly just feeling exhausted.
