Running 1:01:00 [3]

Scored a lift out to Lysterfield and went for a run. Basically a lap of the lake, coming back via the Tramline Track - no hills.

Legs really stiff before starting from Parkrun, and didn't loosen up at all.

Nice way to spend the day.

Running 22:16 [4] 5.0 km (4:27 / km)

Coburg Parkrun.

Hard work, for a Coburg personal worst. Still just scraped through for the quickest woman, but I think I would have been done if the race was any longer as 2nd was gaining on me!

Felt pretty warm running and took a long time to stop dripping afterwards.

Nice work by Ralph and Max to go 1-2 (and a course record by Ralph)!

Riding 40:00 [2]

Good thing about the ride: nice to get out after work in daylight.

Bad thing about the ride: got wounded by a magpie. It drew blood from my ear on the first attack, then went back 4 more times to push me in the back. Magpie 5: Clare 0

Running (stairs) 15:55 [4]

5 x 18 floors, but with a longish break in the middle taking 4 flights of stairs (to avoid popping out in the Minister's/Secretary's office) and 2 lifts.

Didn't run at all. In boots. Had hoped to get under 15mins on the day - maybe that is a bit ambitious. We'll see. Still another 5 weeks for training.

Running (TBA practice) 22:30 [1] 2.48 km (9:04 / km)

Trying to train for my fire fitness test. Quite scared about it this year, although given I haven't passed my medical yet, I may not need to worry.

Had some bricks in my backpack, and just can't make my legs move any faster. Calves got a bit sore. Have to keep up that pace for twice as long.
