Dragon boating 30:00 [3]
Final session for the weekend.
2 x 2km races (in a 20s boat vs the 10s). Pretty knackered but it being a race made me keep going. The whole boat gave a massive lift and grunt for the final strokes.

12 x 200m races.
Still struggling with the person in front of me being out of time. Tried to concentrate on improving one thing at a time. Meant to be a really hard session (there was a vomit afterwards, but not from me) straight out of the Aus national team training camp, but I didn't find it that bad. I mustn't have been trying too hard.

Technique training session. Back and forwards in front of the camera, not going too hard. Really struggled (as did most of the boat), and not sure how I was going to make it through day 2. I think the person in front of me was out of time, which made things more difficult.
After being filmed yesterday we got a few tips to work on. I got quite a few (and the nickname 'mushroom burger'):
- keeping top arm high and straight
- driving with the top arm through the whole stroke
- not lifting my paddle too high on the recovery, feathering the blade
