Orienteering 1:53:40 [3] 7.6 km (14:57 / km)

What a tough race! Already lost a bit of time to 1 looking for the track in to the control. Went west for a bit at the start on the way to 2, then went out to the road for 3. It was nice to have some controls to find for the second half. Went right over the top of the hill to 6 to avoid having to navigate through crap. Took 12 and 13 carefully (ie. slowly) to avoid losing too much time. Was closer in time to Lizzie today than yesterday...I must be a long distance specialist :)

Orienteering 1:03:19 [3] 3.4 km (18:37 / km)

My first outing at Rowdy Flat and made an absolute meal of the first control! I possible got quite close to the last two controls - hadn't really read the map and missed that I had to go up the first embankment. Possibly almost went out of bounds when I exited 4 the wrong way. Came in too high on 10 and went higher. Lost it a bit on 13 through losing contact. Not the greatest day out - I used to think I was good at goldmining!

2 x 10 mins of 200m relay. I got lucky and had a slower partner so I had nice recovery. Tried not to go too hard, legs wouldn't really go any harder anyway!
